Nationwide Delivery (UK)

We offer UK-wide tracked delivery via DPD and DHL, ensuring your bakes arrive fresh and safely.

All parcels are securely packaged.

Please note: how our delivery timing works

All orders are freshly baked to order. For UK-wide delivery, your order is baked and collected by the courier one day, and delivered to you the next day. This means your food travels overnight and arrives the day after baking.

For example, order by Wednesday 12 noon for Friday delivery.

Prefer it same-day and freshest? Choose local delivery or pick-up in Essex instead.

Delivery Rates

Delivery is calculated based on your order value:

• Orders under £120 → £15 delivery

• Orders £120+ → Free delivery

This free delivery threshold applies to standard parcel orders (cakes, banana breads, and similar bakes) sent via DPD or DHL.

Catering and bulk orders, such as multiple snack boxes, platters, or party trays, are delivered at a flat rate of £15. For deliveries over 25 miles from our Essex base, or orders exceeding 10kg, an additional delivery charge may apply. We’ll contact you to confirm this before your order is dispatched.

All parcels are securely packaged to protect your bakes during transit.

Dispatch & Delivery Time

Orders are freshly baked and dispatched within 1–2 working days.

Delivery typically takes 1 working day after dispatch.

Please allow up to 72 hours from the date of purchase for your order to arrive.

You will receive tracking details by email once your order has been dispatched.

Food safety & freshness

Perishable cooked items are packed chilled with ice packs in insulated boxes and sent for next-day delivery. On arrival, refrigerate immediately and consume within 24 hours. For cooked Nigerian dishes (snack boxes, gizdodo, etc.) we recommend local delivery or pick-up for best freshness, especially in warm weather. During summer months, courier transit times can affect perishable items more than usual, so local delivery or collection is strongly recommended for these dishes. Baked goods such as banana bread and cakes travel well nationwide.

📍 Local Pick-Up

Free collection is available in the following Essex areas:

Southend-on-Sea, Benfleet, Rayleigh, Canvey Island, and surrounding areas. Exact address shared after order confirmation.

Additional pick-up locations:

Canary Wharf – available weekly on Sundays. E14, London. Full address and time slot shared after order confirmation.

Woodford & Croydon – Occasional. Dates announced via Instagram @arisbakehouse.x
